The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smask tries to clinch

and Mizarian counters by clinching up.
Mizarian with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Mizarian lands a knee to the head.
Smask tries to break the clinch but Mizarian is controlling the position.
Smask takes an elbow to the forehead.
Mizarian tries a knee to the head but Smask blocks it.
Mizarian lands an elbow just above Smask 's eye.
Smask goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mizarian prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smask wants to get back to striking at distance but Mizarian won't allow it.
Smask trying to control the position but instead, Mizarian has worked for underhooks and has pushed Smask into the cage.
Mizarian lands a knee to the head.

Smask tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mizarian smiles and moves away.
Smask tries for a takedown but Mizarian sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bryce Mizarian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Smask.
Smask shoots in but Mizarian avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smask closes the distance and clinches up with Mizarian, looking for a takedown. Smask pushes Mizarian against the cage but Mizarian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Mizarian holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Smask is trying to maintain a safe position but Mizarian gets an underhook and turns Smask into the cage.

Mizarian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mizarian with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Mizarian jerks Smask's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Smask drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Mizarian goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Mizarian because Smask was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
