The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ceso scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ceso trying to control the action but Grove is working from the bottom.
Grove wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
A lull in the action here.
Grove really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ceso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ceso tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ceso postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ceso is working to tighten is grip on Grove's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grove has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ceso is really squeezing tight and eventually Grove passes out! Ceso breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
