Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joabe Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Bob Dylan - Hurricane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Carter misses the target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oliveira is defended easily by Carter.

and Carter counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Oliveira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Carter counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oliveira takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

letting Carter counter with a right hand.

and Carter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Carter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Carter counters with a two punch combo.

and Carter counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Carter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Carter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oliveira takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oliveira at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carter lands a glancing blow to the side of Oliveira's head.
Oliveira takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oliveira is rocked!
Carter finds Oliveira's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Oliveira flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Carter lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Oliveira will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rubin Carter!
