Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arnold Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Williams!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Palmer to the mat! Palmer manages to get full guard.
Palmer wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.
Palmer keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Williams sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Palmer's guard.

Palmer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Williams is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Palmer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Williams is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Palmer is surviving well by controlling Williams's body position as best he can.

Williams has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Palmer's face.

Palmer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Palmer tries to get out of the position.
Palmer's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Williams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Williams is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Palmer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Palmer!

Williams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Palmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Palmer wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

Williams drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Palmer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Williams has Palmer in his guard.

Williams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Palmer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Palmer tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Palmer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Carlos Williams's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Palmer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Williams backwards.
Palmer pushes Williams back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Williams takes an elbow to the forehead.

Palmer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Williams backwards.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carlos Williams's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
