Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corrado Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Corrado Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith wants to clinch.

Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hughes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Hughes in his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Corrado Smith will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

I would just about give that final round to Matt Hughes.
I think Hughes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
