Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ecks Deidl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Oppenheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oppenheim has chosen Fur Kaiser, Gott Und Vaterland as his entrance music. Bruno Oppenheim will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ecks Deidl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Oppenheim!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deidl shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oppenheim pinned against the cage. Oppenheim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oppenheim does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Oppenheim throws a series of punches but Deidl moves out of range.
Oppenheim scores with a jab to the jaw.
Oppenheim throws a half hearted mid kick.
Deidl looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oppenheim is fending him off so far but Deidl persists. Nope, Oppenheim circles away and we're back to standing.
Deidl shoots for a double leg takedown but Oppenheim sprawls well. He's pushed Deidl's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ecks Deidl. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Oppenheim.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oppenheim. Deidl does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Deidl counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Deidl.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Oppenheim wants to stand but Deidl is controlling the position.
Oppenheim wants to sweep here but Deidl controlling him for the moment.

Oppenheim is adopting a defensive guard.
Deidl would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bruno Oppenheim hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Deidl throws a leg kick that is checked
and Oppenheim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Ecks Deidl has been cut.
Deidl avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oppenheim throws a body punch but Deidl moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oppenheim falls off balance throwing a combination
and Deidl counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Deidl trying to control the position from guard on top but Oppenheim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oppenheim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Oppenheim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Deidl manages to get himself to full guard.
Oppenheim gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Deidl throws a combination that misses
and Oppenheim counters with a nice leg kick.
Deidl is breathing heavily.
Oppenheim lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Deidl crumples to the floor! Oppenheim milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
