PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Jordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Jordon!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Silva misses with a hook. Jordon ducked under it nicely.
Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jordon counters with a head kick. That will keep Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Silva throws a front kick that sends Jordon stumbling back into the ropes.
Jordon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silva throws a right hand that misses
and Jordon counters with a nice leg kick.
Silva misses with an uppercut
and Jordon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Silva throws a poor cross that misses
and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva lands with an overhand left.
Silva misses with a left hand
enabling Jordon to counter with a crisp jab.
Jordon lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Jordon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Jordon has control of Silva's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Silva regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Silva has left one of his arms exposed and Jordon doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silva screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
