He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Roman Galuszka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frederik Kraus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Galuszka!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kraus.
Kraus has his takedown stuffed
and Galuszka counters with a head kick. That will keep Kraus thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Frederik Kraus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kraus shoots in for a takedown but Galuszka shows good takedown defense.

Kraus shoots in looking for a takedown. Galuszka tries to sprawl out of it but Kraus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Galuszka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Galuszka fakes the leg kick and cracks Kraus in the body.

Kraus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Galuszka as he jumps to the side.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kraus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Galuszka - the referee stops the clock and Kraus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Galuszka. Kraus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Kraus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Galuszka's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Galuszka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kraus seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kraus seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Galuszka is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
