Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Booper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holt.
Holt scores with a decent looking hook.
Booper wants to clinch up but Holt keeps it at a distance.
Holt's corner calls for a 1-2. Holt obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Booper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Holt digs a good body shot into Booper's ribs.
Booper takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Holt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Holt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Booper takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Holt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Holt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Booper just stands there and leans against the cage.
Holt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Booper gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Holt thuds a left hand into Booper's body.

Holt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Holt has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Booper holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Holt tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Holt fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Holt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Holt showed some decent athleticism there.

Holt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Holt is looking to work some ground and pound but Booper has wrist control.
