Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Madden Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Coal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coal dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coal but Coal pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Coal counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rush fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Coal lands with a straight right. Rush didn't see that one coming.
Coal takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Rush fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coal avoids it really well and circles away.

Coal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rush chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Coal can pounce on him.

Madden Rush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Rush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Coal bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rush's head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rush. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Coal moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Rush steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Coal. That one must have hurt.

Rush shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coal as he avoids it easily.
Rush is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Rush will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rush crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Coal - the referee stops the clock and Rush gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Coal. Rush manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Coal lands a big head kick that sends Rush tumbling to the mat! Coal takes a step backwards and waves Rush back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coal but Coal pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coal comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Coal connects with a body shot that sends Rush's belly button to the back.
Coal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Rush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Coal sprawls well. Coal wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rush gets slowly back to his feet.

Rush sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
