Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Tillman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tillman has chosen Here Comes the Boom as his entrance music. Pat Tillman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson darts in trying to clinch
and Tillman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Davidson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tillman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like John Davidson has been cut.
Davidson moves to clinch but Tillman breaks away
and Tillman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davidson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tillman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davidson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tillman counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Davidson is breathing heavily.
Jab by Tillman.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tillman drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Davidson right on the button. Davidson goes down! Tillman follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Tillman gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pat Tillman!
