Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Millichip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Millichip looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millichip looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.
White dives in and scores a takedown into Millichip's guard.
White lands a couple of elbows.

Millichip has momentary wrist control but White slips an elbow through the middle.

White seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Millichip avoids it really well and circles away.

White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Millichip moves away.
Millichip gets tackled into the cage by White. White maintains the clinch.
White has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Millichip is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Michael Millichip has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin White.
White tightens his grip and picks Millichip up, before dumping him to the ground. Millichip manages to land in guard.

Millichip tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Millichip ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
White takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

White motions for Millichip to come forward. White throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
White gets a takedown into half guard.
White throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
White seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Millichip wants to get back to his feet.

White landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White uses his free foot to push down on Millichip's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Millichip.

White pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
