Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House throws a combination. Assis tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

House is pressed up against the cage. Assis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag House down to the mat. House avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Assis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but House is surviving well by controlling Assis's body position as best he can.

House is bucking up trying to escape but Assis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Assis has control of House's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and House regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Assis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
House takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That's time! House's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Assis is on top in guard.
Assis distracts House with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Assis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Assis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Assis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
