The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Hooke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rowler misses with a straight right.

Hooke throws a body punch but Rowler moves out of range.
Hooke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rowler gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hooke is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rowler asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Rowler is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hooke is trying to escape and Rowler transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hooke is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rowler! Very nice indeed!
