John Cairo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zappman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cairo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zappman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zappman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cairo is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Zappman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Zappman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cairo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cairo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
