The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Deep. Cunners does a little dance to reset his feet.
Deep fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Cunners looks up at the clock and then as Deep takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cunners smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Deep is looking to regain half guard here but Cunners keeps moving and retains side control.
Deep is pushing Cunners's head away, looking to escape. Cunners manages to hold on to the position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cunners drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cunners jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Deep on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Deep tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like Jay Jay Cunners has been cut.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cunners throws a hook to the side of Deep's head but Deep sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
