Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dk Mon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richie Rawbone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mon comes to the cage accompanied by Bruno Mars-Just the Way You Are. Richie Rawbone told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawbone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mon counters with a left and a right that stings Rawbone.
Richie Rawbone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rawbone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dk Mon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richie Rawbone.

Rawbone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mon is wriggling around trying to escape.
