Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Summers!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia looks to land a combination but Summers avoids it well.
Summers listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Summers pushes Garcia up against the cage in a clinch.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Summers is defended easily by Garcia.

Garcia pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Summers back to the cage. Garcia follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Garcia lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Summers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Summers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Summers misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Summers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Garcia knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Summers in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Summers creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Garcia sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Summers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Garcia, who protects the arm well.
Garcia avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Summers.
Garcia is trying to control Summers's posture but Summers avoids it.
Summers advances nicely into full mount.

Summers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Garcia is now in Summers's guard. A big mistake from Summers there, giving up the dominant position!

Summers looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Summers looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Garcia puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Garcia tries to stand and escape but Summers is controlling the position.
Summers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Scott Summers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Summers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
