Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bertrand Escher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lux Leaves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaves doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Escher makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Leaves tries for a takedown but Escher circles away easily

and Escher counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Escher.

Leaves has hold of Escher's hands but Escher slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Escher connects with a nice short shot to Leaves's temple.
Escher takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Escher winds up and cracks Leaves with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Leaves keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Leaves is trying to stand up here but Escher is controlling him well.

Escher winds up and cracks Leaves with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Leaves is still in real trouble! Can Escher finish him?
Escher looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leaves with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Escher lands a big elbow - Leaves is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Escher!
