Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mayhem Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rommy Tihonovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Mayhem Hardy has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rommy Tihonovich!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tihonovich fails with the takedown
and Hardy counters with a three punch combo that has Tihonovich backing up. Tihonovich nods at Hardy to acknowledge the strikes.
Hardy is breathing heavily.
Tihonovich scores with a nice right hand.
Tihonovich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardy as he jumps to the side.
Tihonovich shoots for a takedown but Hardy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mayhem Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rommy Tihonovich.
Tihonovich smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tihonovich lands a nice shot to the body.
Tihonovich connects with a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tihonovich misses with a two punch combination.
Horrible takedown by Tihonovich or perhaps it was just good defense by Hardy which made him look bad.
Tihonovich throws a series of punches but Hardy moves out of range.
Hardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tihonovich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardy to the mat! Hardy manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tihonovich looking to pass the guard.
Tihonovich is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tihonovich advances to half guard.
Tihonovich moves nicely into side control.
Tihonovich is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hardy is trying to escape and Tihonovich transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hardy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tihonovich! Very nice indeed!
