Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Top Dawg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dawg counters with a nice right hand that sends Sapp toppling to the canvas! Sapp scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dawg finish him?!

It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A shot to the body from Dawg misses
and Sapp counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dawg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sapp was well out of range. Poor timing from Dawg.
Dawg ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Sapp moves into range and clinches up with Dawg.

Sapp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dawg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sapp.
Sapp has a takedown stuffed.

Sapp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sapp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawg can't escape the position.

That has opened up Top Dawg's cut even more.

Top Dawg's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Top Dawg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
