Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Bandro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Silva Ii told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva Ii!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bandro moves into the clinch.

Silva Ii manages to break the clinch.

Silva Ii rushes Bandro and presses him up against the cage.
Bandro jumps guard but Silva Ii stands there with Bandro around his waist. Bandro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bandro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva Ii is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bandro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Silva Ii fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Bandro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Silva Ii is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bandro's half guard.

Bandro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva Ii doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva Ii manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva Ii is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bandro has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Silva Ii is looking to defend but Bandro has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Silva Ii! Bandro pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silva Ii taps out and this one is all over!
