Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Finnian Liam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liam kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Check to Check. Walker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Requiem for a dream. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker shoots in and gets a takedown into Liam's guard.

Walker thows a huge punch but Liam dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker content to control rather than advance.
Walker's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Walker is nestled in close to Liam, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Walker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Walker is looking to take a break and control but Liam is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Liam is doing well to control the position and prevent Walker from advancing to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's time! Liam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Liam fails to land with a series of punches.

and Liam counters with a left and a right that stings Walker.

Liam looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well.
Walker closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Liam quickly recovers to half guard.
Walker tries to pass to full mount but Liam defends it.
Liam wants to get back to his feet.
Walker is keen to just control but Liam is a slippery customer.

Walker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
