And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yannick Riesling!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkelsson scores with a jab. Riesling acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Riesling shoots and misses
and Mikkelsson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mikkelsson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mikkelsson looks to score with a jab to the body but Riesling is just out of range.
Mikkelsson misses with a wild body shot.
Riesling shoots in and drives through. Mikkelsson sprawls well.

and Riesling counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riesling thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mikkelsson's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riesling throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mikkelsson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Riesling.
Riesling is looking to work some ground and pound but Mikkelsson has wrist control.

Mikkelsson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riesling is one step ahead there.
Mikkelsson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Riesling postures up in Mikkelsson's guard and throws a big left but Mikkelsson blocks it.
Mikkelsson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riesling on the ground.

Mikkelsson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Riesling accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Riesling has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Riesling looking to sit in guard and control but Mikkelsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mikkelsson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Riesling to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mikkelsson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Riesling pulls down on the head and he's put Mikkelsson to sleep! This one is all over!
