Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa comes into the arena with Stratovarius - Dreamweaver blaring out of the sound system. Kid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stratovarius - Hunting High and Low kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Costa. That snapped Kid's head back.
Kid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Costa moves away.

and Costa counters with a nice body shot.

Costa wants to improve his position but Kid is controlling well.

Kid is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Costa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kid.
Kid seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Costa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Costa has his hands clasped together around Kid's back. He's all about the action.
Costa tries to kick Kid off but Kid keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
