The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander stuffs the takedown.
Alexander punishes Kravcov's body with a nice straight punch.
Kravcov fails to land the takedown.
Alexander's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Alexander duly obliges.
It looks like Egor Kravcov has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kravcov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alexander is fending him off so far but Kravcov persists. Nope, Alexander circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Egor Kravcov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Alexander, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alexander dives in and scores a takedown into Kravcov's guard.
Kravcov is breathing heavily.

Alexander looks for a takedown but Kravcov sprawls well.
Alexander lands with a straight right. Kravcov didn't see that one coming.

Kravcov feints and as Alexander raises his hands in defense, Kravcov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alexander can do anything to dispel that myth.
Alexander really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kravcov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kravcov throws a strike but Alexander rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kravcov throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Kravcov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Alexander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kravcov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kravcov is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Alexander has his hands clasped together but Kravcov extends an breaks Alexander's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kravcov.
