Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maicon Domingues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Domingues has managed to clinch.

Domingues shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Alves pinned against the cage. Alves gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alves misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alves throws a hook but Domingues avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Domingues slips a jab and a cross from Alves.
Domingues walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Alves checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Alves swings for the body but Domingues moves out of range.
Domingues tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alves swivels and escapes.

Alves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Domingues sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Domingues has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Alves uses from the top position.
Alves has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Domingues is proving hard to escape from.

Alves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Domingues has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Alves should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Domingues has tightened it up now! Alves should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
