Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Cronan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor rushes Cronan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cronan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Cronan works on Taylor's body with a couple of short punches.
Taylor tries to pull guard but Cronan holds him up against the cage and eventually Taylor drops back down to his feet.
Cronan is trying to maintain a safe position but Taylor gets an underhook and turns Cronan into the cage.

Cronan successfully pulls guard.
Cronan looking for a sweep. Not yet Cronan, not yet.
Taylor engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Cronan wants to get back to his feet but Taylor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Cronan has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taylor is posturing up here but Cronan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Taylor tries to roll out but it's too tight and Taylor has to tap! Slick submission there by Cronan!
