Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lindquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Jankovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindquist kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wacco Will Kick Your Ass. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindquist misses with a right hand

and Jankovic counters with a shoot takedown. Lindquist fights it but they end up in guard.
Lindquist is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Jankovic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lindquist works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lindquist is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lindquist avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jankovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lindquist gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jankovic is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lindquist defends well.

Jankovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Jankovic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lindquist won't be happy with that.
