McVey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jump Around by House of Pain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McVey tries to clinch
and McFly counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
McVey looks to clinch
and McFly counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McFly is looking to advance position but McVey won't allow it.
McFly is keen to just control but McVey is a slippery customer.
McFly is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McVey is trying to get back to full guard.
McVey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McFly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McVey preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

McFly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McVey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McFly.
McVey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
McVey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McVey wants to stand up but McFly is controlling him.
McVey keeping moving, preventing McFly from controlling successfully.
McFly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McVey is keeping the position for now.
McFly trying to control but McVey is working from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bojangles McFly has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
