Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drake might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Εξομολογεισθ . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent misses with a straight right.
Drake fails to land with a series of punches.
Drake throws a hook to the side of Kent's head but Kent sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kent needs to keep his hands up - Drake had a free shot at his head there.

Kent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drake sprawls well. Drake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kent gets slowly back to his feet.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kent might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Drake has got the better of the exchanges.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kent is looking to work some ground and pound but Drake has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kent tries to free his leg and advance position but Drake is retaining full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joshua Drake.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drake, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
