The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Out darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Out stands up out of the half guard.
Tomic tries for a takedown but Out circles away easily

and Out decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tomic's guard.
Out wants to control from the top but Tomic keeps moving.
Tomic looking to control.
Tomic is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Tomic tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Out drops back looking for a leg! Tomic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tomic manages to kick Out off! Out jumps back into Tomic's guard.
Out trying to control but Tomic is working from the bottom.

Out throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tomic drives through and clinches with Out against the cage.

Tomic has clasped his hands together around Out's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Out gets back to half guard.
Tomic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Out is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tomic's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tomic's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Out's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Out is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Out is breathing heavily.

Tomic is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Out is staying active.

Out is looking for the choke from the back position but Tomic is controlling his hands well.
Tomic can't escape the position.

Out is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Tomic knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Tomic for a finish.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
I really don't envy Tomic right now.
