Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Mcdonel !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Troxx!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troxx tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcdonel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Troxx somewhat.
Troxx avoids a punch combination nicely.
Troxx is looking to clinch but Mcdonel is avoiding it.
Troxx tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcdonel swivels and escapes.
Mcdonel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Troxx to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcdonel seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Troxx trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Troxx must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mcdonel wants to hit a switch here but Troxx passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mcdonel there!
Troxx wants to get back to his feet but Mcdonel is holding on tight.

Mcdonel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Troxx throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Troxx prevents Mcdonel from getting the reversal.
Troxx looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Troxx fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Troxx trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Troxx punching from mount but Mcdonel doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mcdonel is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Troxx unloads with some shots from mount but Mcdonel bucks and avoids them well.
Mcdonel regains half guard.
Mcdonel won't allow Troxx to pass to mount.
Troxx seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcdonel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mcdonel tries to roll over but Troxx keeps him under control.
Troxx is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mcdonel !
Mcdonel slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Mcdonel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mcdonel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Troxx doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Troxx manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mcdonel has his feet on Troxx's thighs here. He's pushed Troxx off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Troxx screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
