Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Valutchko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tank's entrance music is Destiny. A fine choice. Valutchko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gimn Sovetskogo Sojuza. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Tank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Anatoli Valutchko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tank is looking to clinch but Valutchko is avoiding it.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Valutchko stands and throws Tank's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tank is working to avoid the ground and pound but Valutchko connects with a decent elbow.


It looks like Frank Tank has been cut.
Valutchko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Valutchko landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Valutchko is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tank will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Valutchko fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Tank is looking to reverse the position.
Valutchko sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tank is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tank on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tank tries to get out of the position.

Valutchko is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Valutchko is looking to take a break and control but Tank is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Valutchko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tank keeps working.
Tank is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Tank buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tank throws a head kick but Valutchko moves out of range.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Tank.
Valutchko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Valutchko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tank is fending him off so far but Valutchko persists. Nope, Tank circles away and we're back to standing.

and Tank counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Valutchko misses with a jab, cross combination.

Valutchko takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tank takes a swing at Valutchko's ribcage but misses.
Valutchko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tank tries to score with a low kick but Valutchko moves his leg out of the way.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tank tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Valutchko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Valutchko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tank was well out of range. Poor timing from Valutchko.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tank throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tank.
Valutchko connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tank's hands.

Tank gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Valutchko throws and elbow that misses. Tank uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Valutchko's guard. Nice move by Tank!

Tank wants to control from the top but Valutchko keeps moving.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Valutchko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anatoli Valutchko wasn't active enough on the ground.
