Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Haiki Masatupo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage throws a combination that misses

and Masatupo counters with a shoot takedown. Rage fights it but they end up in guard.
Rage looking for a sweep. Not yet Rage, not yet.
Masatupo postures up in Rage's guard and throws a big left but Rage blocks it.
Masatupo wants to pass the guard but Rage is keeping the position.

Rage pushes Masatupo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Masatupo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rage blocks it with crossed arms.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Flash Rage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Masatupo rushes Rage and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Masatupo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rage up against the ropes.

Masatupo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Masatupo.

Rage manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Masatupo on his heels. He'll look to pass Masatupo's guard now, I'm sure.

That was a close round but I would say that Haiki Masatupo will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Masatupo has control of Rage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rage regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Masatupo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Masatupo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Masatupo is landing with some decent strikes but Rage is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Masatupo won't let Rage get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Rage wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rage tries to pull guard but Masatupo holds him up against the ropes and eventually Rage drops back down to his feet.
