Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Takayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raipe Raikas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Takayama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Raipe Raikas!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raikas misses with a hook. Takayama ducked under it nicely.
Takayama moves out of range of the body kick from Raikas.
Takayama throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raikas's waist but Raikas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takayama off to one side.
Takayama fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Raikas keeps the fight on the outside.
Raikas tries to bum rush Takayama with a series of wild strikes but Takayama uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takayama.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Takayama. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Takayama with that takedown attempt.
Takayama fails to land the takedown.
Takayama chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Raikas can pounce on him.

Raikas throws a half hearted mid kick.
Raikas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Raikas throws a left that rocks Takayama and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Raikas dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Takayama regain composure!

Takayama is rocked!

It looks like Takeshi Takayama has been cut.
Raikas tries to stand but Takayama is controlling his head.
Oh Takayama is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takayama is looking for a sweep.

Raikas wants to stand but Takayama has his arm trapped.
Takayama seems to have got his legs back now.
Takayama tries to improve position but can't.
Takayama is working hard here to advance position.

Raikas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Raikas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Takayama.

Raikas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Takayama is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Takayama looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Some wild striking there from Raikas.
Raikas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takayama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Raikas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Raikas misses with a body kick.
Raikas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Raikas misses the jab.
Takayama misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Raikas scores with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Raikas as Takayama shoots in.
Raikas pushes Takayama away with a front kick.
Raikas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Raikas works over Takayama's head and body with a nice combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takayama doesn't manage to clinch there - Raikas circles away.
An inside leg kick from Raikas misses.

Raikas lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Takayama crumples to the floor! Raikas milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
