Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fourie throws a head kick but Dexter moves out of range.
Dexter misses with a takedown attempt

and Fourie counters with a takedown into side control.

Fourie decides to stand back up. Fourie steps back and let's Dexter get back to his feet.

Fourie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dexter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fourie is in Dexter's guard.

Fourie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dexter, up you get!
Dexter tries to land a front kick but Fourie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fourie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dexter tries to clinch up

and Fourie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dexter!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fourie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dexter looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fourie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Fourie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Dexter turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fourie off and cradles Dexter's limp body as Fourie celebrates with his corner.
