Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Emiliano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with Voodoo People blaring out of the sound system. Emiliano has chosen Era - Enae Volare Mezzo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Emiliano pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emiliano keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Emiliano is keeping the position for now.
Johnson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Emiliano wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thomas Johnson.
Emiliano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Emiliano finish him?!
It looks like Thomas Johnson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Emiliano counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Emiliano thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Johnson to regain full guard.

Emiliano won't allow Johnson to sweep him here.

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Emiliano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Emiliano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Emiliano is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johnson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johnson has escaped and now he's on top!

Emiliano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Johnson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Emiliano defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Emiliano needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Emiliano moves out of range.
Emiliano scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Emiliano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Johnson, who protects the arm well.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom here.
Emiliano tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Filipe Emiliano dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Thomas Johnson's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Johnson avoids the attempt from Emiliano to control.

Emiliano is in a horrible position here. Johnson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Johnson postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Emiliano bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Johnson and the fight is over!
