The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flowers fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mc Auley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flowers pinned against the cage. Flowers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mc Auley moves into range and clinches up with Flowers.

Mc Auley jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Flowers manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Mc Auley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flowers is just riding it out for now. Mc Auley eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
