Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezekel Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lasse Willemoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rage comes into the arena with Sky is the Limit blaring out of the sound system. Willemoes has chosen Rage Against The Machine- Bomb Track as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willemoes looks for the body kick but Rage saw that one coming.
Rage looks to throw the jab but Willemoes is out of range.
Rage tries to clinch but Willemoes moves out of range.
Rage tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Willemoes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage moves to clinch but Willemoes breaks away
so Willemoes counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Willemoes sitting in guard here, content to control.
Rage keeping moving, preventing Willemoes from controlling successfully.

Willemoes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willemoes on the ground.

Rage wants to get up but he can't break Willemoes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Rage won't allow Willemoes to sweep him here.
Rage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Willemoes has his foot on Rage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rage works his way back into a safe position though.

Rage keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Willemoes's efforts to push away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ezekel Rage will probably get the nod.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Willemoes with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rage has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Willemoes off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Willemoes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rage's guard now.
Rage is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Willemoes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Willemoes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Willemoes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Willemoes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Willemoes is trying to ground and pound but Rage uses the momentary lack of control by Willemoes to regain half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willemoes trying to control the action but Rage is working from the bottom.
Rage is looking to get back to is feet but Willemoes passes into side control.
Willemoes working the strikes but Rage uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Willemoes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Willemoes is nestled in close to Rage, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rage pushes Willemoes off looking to stand but Willemoes dives back in and keeps control.
Willemoes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rage's head.
Willemoes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that's the end of the fight!
Lasse Willemoes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Willemoes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
