Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Shaw fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Shaw checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Shaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shaw shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Shaw will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Shaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones postures up and lands a big shot to Shaw's brow.
Shaw is breathing heavily.

Shaw utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jones distracts Shaw with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shaw's head.
Jones is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Shaw is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
