Thomas tries to clinch up.
Thomas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Zolotarev counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zolotarev.
Zolotarev won't allow Thomas to get back to his feet.
Zolotarev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Zolotarev drops back looking for a leg! Thomas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thomas manages to kick Zolotarev off! Zolotarev jumps back into Thomas's guard.
Zolotarev is breathing heavily.
Thomas wants to stand and escape but Zolotarev is having none of it.
Zolotarev stopping the sweep attempt from Thomas.
Thomas is looking to stand up but Zolotarev isn't so interested in that idea.

Zolotarev drops back looking for a leg! Thomas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thomas manages to kick Zolotarev off! Zolotarev jumps back into Thomas's guard.

Thomas wants to stand and escape but Zolotarev is having none of it.
Zolotarev drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Zolotarev as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Thomas screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Zolotarev! Nice submission victory there!
