The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolfes with a lazy takedown attempt
and Masters counters with a thumping low kick.

Rolfes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Masters's guard.
Rolfes trying to control but Masters is working from the bottom.
Masters wants to stand up but Rolfes is controlling him.
Masters is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rolfes shoots and misses
and Masters counters with a thumping low kick.
Rolfes misses with a takedown attempt
and Masters counters with a left to the body.
Trent Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastian Rolfes.
Masters throws a body punch but Rolfes moves out of range.
Masters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rolfes on the side of the head.

It looks like Bastian Rolfes has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rolfes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Masters counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rolfes looks gassed!

Masters lands with an overhand left.

Masters lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rolfes is looking to close the distance but Masters sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rolfes crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rolfes is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
