Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caius Creatine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Creatine's choice of entrance music: Sabaton - Metal Crue. Tim Franklin had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin walks into a left hand.
It looks like Tim Franklin has been cut.
Creatine tries to clinch up but Franklin circles away and keeps his distance.
Creatine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Franklin fails with a takedown attempt.

Franklin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Creatine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Creatine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Creatine!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franklin is breathing heavily.
Creatine is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Franklin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Franklin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Creatine is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Creatine has escaped and now he's on top!
Creatine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Franklin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Franklin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Creatine dives on top into guard.
Creatine must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Creatine stays in close to Franklin's body and controls the position.
Creatine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Creatine wants to stand but Franklin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Creatine lands a hook that stumbles Franklin back into the cage. Creatine follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Franklin to the canvas! Creatine pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Franklin has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
