Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viko Maafala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Waste My Hate kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maafala is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tepes.
It looks like Viko Maafala has been cut.

and Maafala counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tepes's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maafala is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tepes is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tepes has escaped and now he's on top!

Maafala is working an open guard so Tepes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Tepes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Maafala wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Maafala postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Maafala tries to score with some ground and pound. Tepes controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maafala, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
