Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Medved (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasile Papuc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasile Papuc struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papuc tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Medved counters with a head kick that drops Papuc to the mat! Papuc scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Medved drops Papuc with a big knee straight up the middle! Papuc is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Vasile Papuc has been cut.
Papuc throws a nice looking combination but Medved bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Vasile Papuc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papuc tries to bum rush Medved with a series of wild strikes but Medved uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Medved throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Papuc stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
