Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam MacIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler's entrance music is Nelly - E.I.. A fine choice. MacIntyre has chosen Forever, by Throwdown as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacIntyre takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Brawler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brawler throws a head kick but MacIntyre moves out of range.

MacIntyre gets a takedown into half guard.
MacIntyre slips a nice elbow through Brawler's hands, connecting with Brawler's forehead.
MacIntyre trying to control the action but Brawler is working from the bottom.
MacIntyre is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Brawler!
MacIntyre postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brawler looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

MacIntyre swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brawler is now in MacIntyre's guard. A big mistake from MacIntyre there, giving up the dominant position!
MacIntyre has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brawler wants to stand but MacIntyre has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Brawler got a little sloppy there for a moment and MacIntyre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brawler has managed to get both his arms back between MacIntyre's legs - danger averted.

MacIntyre controls Brawler momentarily but Brawler frees himself.

MacIntyre is working an open guard so Brawler takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Brawler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and MacIntyre counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brawler's guard now.
MacIntyre prevents Brawler from getting back to his feet.

MacIntyre wants to control from the top but Brawler keeps moving.
Brawler has momentary wrist control but MacIntyre slips an elbow through the middle.

Brawler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

MacIntyre is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brawler lands a really nice looking cross but MacIntyre seems unphased.
Brawler lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as MacIntyre backs up against the cage.

Brawler bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Brawler counters with a head kick. That will keep MacIntyre thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
