The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tugarinov with a poor takedown
and Solyanko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Solyanko looks to clinch
and Tugarinov counters with a shoot takedown. Solyanko fights it but they end up in guard.
Tugarinov drops back looking for a leg! Solyanko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solyanko manages to kick Tugarinov off! Tugarinov jumps back into Solyanko's guard.
Tugarinov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Solyanko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tugarinov, into his guard.
Solyanko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tugarinov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Solyanko wants to get up but he can't break Tugarinov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Solyanko wants to control from the top but Tugarinov keeps moving.
Solyanko is posturing up here but Tugarinov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Solyanko tries to roll out but it's too tight and Solyanko has to tap! Slick submission there by Tugarinov!
