Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conor Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Dread (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Dread has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Conor Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damian Dread!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fighters circling - Doyle throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dread throws a right and a left that both miss.
Doyle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dread but Dread pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Doyle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dread sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Doyle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dread tries to avoid it but Doyle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dread to the ground. Dread escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Doyle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Doyle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dread avoids it really well and circles away.

Dread will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
