The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naciamento takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Naciamento clobbers Grande with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Grande counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

It looks like Xervian Naciamento has been cut.
Grande dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Naciamento takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Grande lands a nice hook to Naciamento's body. Naciamento takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Grande scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Chico Grande seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Naciamento is rocked!
Naciamento on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Grande smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Naciamento is still on wobbly legs! Can Grande finish him?

Naciamento seems to have recovered his senses.

Grande goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Grande is looking to wear down Naciamento with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Grande jabs Naciamento to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Grande pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Naciamento back to the cage. Grande follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Naciamento is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Grande moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
